3D 500mb PV Contour

These images show the 500mb isobaric potential vorticity (quasi-static, adiabatic,
invicid, primitive Ertel PV) field computed hourly from the operational RUC model
output. The grayshaded contour is a 3-D representation of the PV field shown in
the 2-D plot at the top of the box.
